Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Personal Dance Journey ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Personal Dance Journey is a platform for dance studios, instructors, and students to track progress, share practice videos, manage milestones, and communicate about dance training. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your login with others. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@palaisdedanse.studio.

• Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates others' intellectual property rights
• Do not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Do not attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you
• Do not use the Service to spam, harass, or threaten other users
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Do not use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without our written consent

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including practice videos and comments. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and deliver that content to the users you authorize — your teacher, assigned pro reviewers — solely to operate the Service. We do not use your content for any other purpose and do not claim ownership of it.

Some features require payment. All transactions are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in AED unless otherwise stated. Coin purchases and store item redemptions are non-refundable unless the item was not delivered due to a technical error on our part. Contact support@palaisdedanse.studio within 7 days of purchase for payment disputes.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or cause harm to other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your content will be deleted within 30 days.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the Service. We are not responsible for the quality of dance instruction provided by teachers using the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Personal Dance Journey and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or profits.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
